height matters, but its far from the only thing that matters.
there are advantages and disadvantages the shorter and larger guy.

it depends on your skillset and strategy on how the fight plays out in that scenario.


although Tua was great to watch and a likable fighter, but even in his prime lets not forget he struggled with David Izon, a green Maskaev and was soundly outboxed by Rahman before the controversial KO.

whats odd about Tua was that he was well suited for infighting, but wasnt super skilled at closing the distance or infighting. Tua still used his 'short stocky guy' advantages well, but not as well as he could have. He was kept on the outside a fair amount of times, but people simply forget because he ended up catching them with a super cool KO.
