Not really 'cause they didn't exactly "waste" their talent but had it taken from them.

Max Baer...Baer had everything physically to become a great heavy champ...a huge torso...big arms,chests and a massive head.Coupled with a great chin and a huge right hand it should have earned him more than he eventually did. He was too undisciplined and unfocused. Still a great but could have been a lot lot better.
