This lot are good choices. I'd add Ali, Whitaker............and prime Mosley (the one that fought Oscar was lightning fast). Prime Hearns had rapid hands too.

I forgot about Mosley when he fought Oscar. The first time I watched that fight, I thought I had a bad video he was so quick. It looked like it was sped up. He might have been faster than Macho Camacho.

It's difficult. Jim Jacobs and Bill Cayton used a semi-scientific approach to gauge the quickness of Muhammad Ali's jab compared to that of Ray Robinson.

They counted the frames from fightfilms and found out that Ali's jab was indeed quicker which is quite amazing.


Other than that some good names that must be up there in the top 5 has already been mentioned. Meldrick Taylor, Hector Camacho, Leonard. Mosley and Jones Jr. had great speed of hand as well.
