i think he achieved all he could have achieved in this sport, his 2 fights with Rid**** Bowe was brutal and they left there mark on Golota, yet he underacheived in several of his other top fights mainly the Tyson fight where he quit.

He was lucky enough to beat on a completely washed up Rid**** Bowe, still lost both fights out of pure cowardice and never beat anyone significant afterwards. Also, he was not 'crazy' like people claim, he was just a quitter. He didn't do what he did to Bowe because he was nuts, it's because he was looking for a way out.

Other than that I give credit where it's due. Fantastic jabs and combinations, could really double up on it nicely.

actually he suffers from anxiety attacks much like ricky williams does.he was never comfortable in events with a high magnitute of pressure...he always mentally broke down.williams was the same in crowds he hated being in the spotlite & pressure situations so he smoked pot to help with these issues but unfortunately it got him in trouble multiple times with the nfl.his former trainers talked about this.golota wasnt crazy he just got rattled under pressure.winning or losing he seemed to cave in the minute he was faced with contraversy...great combination puncher & had excellent jab & skills just didnt have the mental makeup of a champion...
