Jackson fought lots of Class C fighters and tomato cans he was soundly beaten by McCallum inside 2rds because he could not deal with McCallums boxing skills, Hearns would be aware of Jacksons punching power and go for the kill right from the opening bell, reach, speed & ability all lie with Hearns
Go for the kill out of the gate and he would end up like Graham.

Graham was on the verge of a stoppage victory when Jackson caught him... Jackson could not deal with skilled boxers and Hearns carried dynamite in his fists unlike Herol Graham also Jackson did not have the best of chins so the likelyhood is that soon as Hearns lines him up and lands his bombs it would be `good night Jacko`

Id favour hearns as he is the better boxer although one flush punch could finish him off but it works vica-versa

And Hearns did? You mention Jackson not being able to handle skilled boxers, but Hearns in puncher mode is not Hearns in boxer mode, you can't have both. I also disagree that Graham was on the verge of stopping him, although he was dominating on points. I'm not sure how this has turned into such a war, and Hearns is one of my all-time favorites, but this is also the man who was stopped by Barkley when he slipped up and I think it is a bad style match-up for him against the P4P most devastating puncher in the history of the sport. Jackson's chin wasn't nearly as bad as it's being made out to be (although again, Hearns certainly had the power to stop him). Hearns of course has a chance, but I would favor Jackson 60/40 to land big early, especially if Hearns went right at him. I think he would be best served boxing and waiting for counter opportunities to get the stoppage.

Exactly my pick , my certainty in it , and my reasons for them

i suggest you go back and watch Graham vs Jackson and you will see that Jackson was on the verge of being stopped with the referee poised to halt the fight at any second when Graham came in square-on and got poleaxed... You are also overating Jackson`s opponents, they was all tomato cans who Jackson fought and all of them would have been KOd by Thomas Hearns just like they was by Jackson... Herol Graham & Terry Norris are the best opponents Jackson beat and Graham was on the verge of stopping him... Hearns would have taken care of Norris & Graham and i would also fancy Barkley to handle Jackson... its about quality of opposition beaten and Jackson`s opposition was very very weak, he may have looked good beating them but when put into perspective they was a bunch of cans
