I don't think he's underrated by people in the know, but he is largely forgotten about.

*hard to pick although Chavez loss to DLH and was being schooled by Taylor until the last second stoppage he had great wins here, DLH was great at 140 but not enough fights, Cervantes loss to a 17 year old wizard but is one of the best at that weight, Kostya high but 2 losses here, Pryor pretty made his name on one division with or without magic bottles.

Lightweight 1- Benny Leonard 2-Joe Gans 3-Roberto Duran

Super Featherweight 1-Floyd Mayweather Jr. 2-Flash Elorde 3-Hiroshi Koboyashi

Featherweight 1- Willie Pepp 2-Sandy Saddler 3-Salvador Sanchez

      * I had Attel and Armstrong slightly below Sanchez at FW. Armstrong beat Ambers, Ross, and Garcia at weights north from FW and Attel had more defenses than Salvador but i felt Sanchez had the stiffer competition. He also fought in a modern era with more international competition. It would be difficult to have any list of all three guys being Pre-1950.
      Well, I agree it.
