Not really,Ali was a greater fighter than George Foreman and also beat Frazier convincingly twice out of three times,nothing to do with having somebody's number there.A greater example was perhaps Ali having Sonny Liston's number,Liston was arguably a greater fighter than Cassius Clay(certainly greater than the later incarnation)and nobody from 1958-1962 could have beaten him apart from perhaps a young Cassius Clay.
