If Witherspoon that fought Holmes had fought '88 Tyson

Who would win? I seriously doubt Mike could ko Terrible Tim so easily. Tim was a better boxer than Mike, for sure. And had an excellent chin as well, in his prime. I believe that on that night he fought and actually beat Larry Holmes, Witherspoon coulda beaten Tyson and pretty much any other heavyweight of the 80's. And 90's too, probably.

Tim Witherspoon admits he doesnt think he could ever beat a young Mike Tyson, although he pointed out knocking Quick Tillis while a still learning Tyson had a hard time against Tillis.

I think an on-task Witherspoon would give Tyson a harder fight than everyone else Tyson fought. Don't know that Witherspoon had enough to beat '88 Tyson. He'd win some rounds jabbing and tying, but I'll go with Tyson 8-4.
