Quarry for me. He was never going to beat Ali but his losses to Frazier would have been more competitive had he listened to his corner. That said, if he had listened to his corner in the Shavers fight, the result might have been different. After hurting Shavers his corner was sreaming at him to back off and be cautious but that wasn't in Jerry's playbook.

Both Ali and Holmes had bigger fish to fry and Bobick was stopped whenever he stepped up in competition. Amateur success does not translate to professional success.
watch this and you kinda think it is definately morrison who is the greatest great white hope.
although I must say I personally suspect he was on peds. just the build looks it, what a great guy he was though!Last edited by max baer; 10-27-2024, 01:37 PM.

I don't want lazy racist ideas but can anyone put forward any possible reasons why there were so few white quality men in the heavyweight division during those two deacdes?
Considering how many white men there were after 2000. What do you think explains this strange situation as I genuinely wonder and don't know. It must have something to do with culture but that is all I can guess.
One arguement is simly that boxing gyms tend to be in inner city black areas and poor white men live more rural so there are less boxing clubs. Seems a p!ss poor explanation and only really applies to the usa.Last edited by max baer; 10-27-2024, 02:27 PM.

Unfortunately he entered into Joe Frazier's training and lost his natural style.max baer likes this.
