So I was looking up some info on boxrec about old timers and apparently this fight was stopped and declared a NC because the ref felt they weren't trying hard enough?

That is the most grizzled ol'timey thing in ol'timey times I have heard of in a while.

Does anyone have anymore info about this?

I wouldn't mind this being done in modern times in some cases to be honest(looking at Shakur Stevenson)
