If Tyson Had Been In Prime, In His Fights With Holyfield and Lewis?

We know how the fights with Mike Tyson went down against Holyfield and Lewis,, but what if that were the 87 - 89 version of the iron one in there?

I see Tyson beating Holyfield by ko around7 rounds.
The rematch sees Much the same.
Lennox on the other hand, I see him beating Tyson, maybe by late ko or a points decision.

    - - They both older and more mature than Tyson, so why was one messing around with tiny, shot unranked heavies, and the other in headgear and pillows 4 rounders while Mike made an historic run through the heavy division while cleaning out the banks?

The Giant Sucking sound you heard was them filling the void while Mike wasted away in prison.

After losing to Douglas he wasn't beating Holyfield. Before that I've always picked him to win. I don't think he ever beats Lewis though we know he always had a chance. Lennox was just a great fighter...big, fast and could **** or box.

I think you take away PEDs and Holyfield is overwhelmed, like all the early opponents where.

        1990 Tyson-Hoyfield - Tyson by TKO

          Another way.

Let's say Tyson skips the easy payday in Japan and goes at with Holyfied first in 1990?

Same bad team is in place: Snow(sp) and King & Co. and HBO.

But does Tyson come in better prepared for Holyfield just out of respect/concern? Mentally, physically?

What say you about that fight?

The Tyson of 1997 would have beaten Holyfield in the bite fight, had he not snapped. Let alone prime Tyson. The best Holyfield was almost knocked out by Bert Cooper and saw hell against Alex Stewart, which 1990's Tyson ate in less than one round.

Lewis would have been more difficult but - again - if a prime Lewis gets caught cold by McCall, 1986-1988 Tyson does the job as well.

No mate, the Lewis that actually fought Tyson, that version. Same as Holyfield.

I've always pegged Holyfield to beat him given Evander's unshakeable mindset, which, I think somehow always rattled Tyson. I state that relative to the Holyfield of 1989-1997 period. I'm less sure about Lenny, however. He's definitely a cut above the usual giants Tyson lumberjacked, however his losses suggest something that the Tyson of the Briggs-Holmes-Tubbs-Spinks run could capitalize on. Very hard to say.

If he never loses to Douglas first? I like Tyson. Even with the miscreants training him he was still a force. But one Douglas broke that aura of invincibility, everything changed for Tyson and people who wanted to fight him. He was no longer ger indestructible. They knew it, but more importantly he knew it.
