    - - I gave the 2005 all time IBRO ratings where Dawson doesn't get a mention.

Poppy was an Oscar promoted fighter, so of course Ring kept him propped up far beyond his stink date.

Already told U when Joe made his LH debut, it was in America vs numero uno Poppy and then cinco rated Roy, and he humiliated both, something U musta missed for being in 2nd grade then.

Why would you use a 2005 rating when Hopkins was still fighting at middleweight?

I don't care about 2005 rankings, idiot. I wouldn't expect Chad Dawson to be mentioned on a 2005 rankings considering he'd only been pro a few years and wasn't even a contender at that point.

Hopkins was Universally ranked # 1 at LHW when Chad Dawson beat him.

        That is a fact.

So you were wrong in saying that he wasn't # 1, because, he was.

          - - So U was the model for the dunce smiley. Cute.

Poppy skipped Joe and supermiddleweight in 2006 to beat fat Tarver for his LH title who was unable to shake Hollywood for their fight, ie in their day Roy was ahead of Poppy in accolades and talent.

That was the point I was making, that Hopkins was ranked # 1 when Dawson beat him.

And realistically he beat him twice because Hopkins twice because Hopkins quit the first time.
            - - That's what I'm talking about. Poppy lost both bouts, but Oscar got him off the hook in the first one.

Pascal also whooped him bad their first fight, and mysteriously could only manage a draw. I both cases, there was no need for a rematch when Poppy got whooped but for horrendous judging. Thus it's just a technical anomaly of the ratings that Poppy won the Pascal 2nd fight where he looked like he was on something.

At this point, not sure what your point is, but my point was and will forever be Poppy was a major league stinker needing under the table help with no fanbase by that point not that he ever had a big one.

My point is you said that Hopkins wasn't ranked # 1 when Chad Dawson beat him when he in fact, was ranked # 1 at LHW when Dawson beat him.

But you didn't quote 2006, did you, Turd gobbler? And Hopkins was still number one in 2012 when he fought Dawson. You're looking like a bigger Turd gobbler than you did earlier. Learn to follow a timeline stoopid!!!

                  - - My point is my memory where in no way would he be ranked Home without copious Oscar intervention.

Bit like Blubber the Ring Champ having quit the Wlad rematch, copped a drug suspension and gone on a 400lb public booze, coke, and pie bender for 3 ranked Champion years.

Yes, that is what U be saying.

What you say or think is irrelevant.

You said Hopkins wasn’t ranked # 1 at LHW when Dawson fought him when he in FACT was ranked # 1.

And he wasn’t just ranked # 1 by The Ring ****zine either, he was ranked # 1 by every single Boxing Media outlet at that time.

And, even if he was only holding that ranking with The Ring ****zine, that’s the exact same ranking system you’re using for saying Hopkins was # 1 when Calzaghe fought him.

Here are the facts, Hopkins was universally ranked # 1 at LHW when Dawson beat him. That’s a fact, stick to the facts.

Hehe, you said Turd Gobbler hehe . Can't wait to see the new season of Beavis and Butthead. Will probably catch it in December on DVD. Until then, going through old episodes.
