I mean, Zhilei Zhang just ripped Joyce's face off. Easy, one-Sided style; and while FIFA terms the United States, China and India only as "Emerging fanbase markets", the three biggest nations on earth; China is all-in on Zhilei Zhang, as the US is still not gotten over Mike Tyson.

    Champion -
    Tyson Fury, England

    1. Zhilei Zhang, China
    2. Oleksandr Usyk, Ukraine
    3. Deontay Wilder, United States
    4. Anthony Joshua, England
    5. Andy Ruiz Jr, United States
    6. Filip Hrgovic, Croatia
    7. Joe Joyce, England
    8. Luis Ortiz, Cuba
    9. Daniel Dubois, England
    10. Dillian Whyte, England
    11.Jarred Anderson, United States
    12.Joseph Parker, New Zealand
    13.Frank Sanchez, Cuba
    14.Martin Bakole, The Congo
    15.Murat Gassiev, Armenia
    16.Otto Wallin, Sweden
    17.Carlos Takam, Cameron
    18.Derrek Chisora, England
    19.Kubrat Pulev, Bulgaria
    20.Efe Ajagba, Nigeria

Why racism because I screwd around with the word 'chinaman' ? -- the belief applies to any new group that enters the frey.

Not racist, just being deliberately disrespectful of verbal conventions.

But I stand on my prediction. You don't get to the level of a 'fight of the century' with the first guy out of China. You are thinking too much inside the (boxing fan) box.

There needs to be several events to prove their worthy of awe. They need a Super Bowl III, then we'll take notice. Then we ll pay the bigh bucks for a PPV.

Wait until one of them wins big over a western based big name fighter, then you can build to your international, sensational 'fight of the century.'

This guy fights Fury next it will be seen as cherry picking by Fury and will not be as popular as you hope.

No worries my friend. On the Fury - Zhang fight, I'll take a wait & see, and see what the financial plan becomes from Macau, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong; but there's alot of buzz about it in China. The Chinese are hungry for this world stage stuff, and I'm expecting some big bucks to show up for a late summer clash. Wilder vs. Joshua are now in negotiations, and poor Usyk is being pressed into a mandatory against a good but outboxable opponent who Joyce left broken in two. Good times in the heavyweight class, but you just never know.

          - - AJ the bigger fight and guaranteed easier to sign as an established International fighter. Why bother with melting Fury likely suffering from developing dementia after being concussed repeatedly by Deyonce who concurrently suffering the same malady? Sad story repeated endlessly in boxing...only in boxing, folks.

Only fly in the ointment is Joyce's promoter who may have options on Zhang.

AJ will always be a big fight for anyone, and off the cuff I'd peg him as being the most popular heavyweight since those halcyon days of Kid Dynamite. He's also a preferred opponent by anyone breaking into the magic top 20, seen now as highly gifted but beatable. This leaves Team Joshua with bountiful opportunities, that will be navigated by the team's management of risk; and their decision to bring him back to his remaining potential, or cash him out with a massive payday from the Saudis, or now, Macau. If yesterday's reports that they are entertaining an offer from the Saudis to fight fellow "Three Kings" member Wilder in the Middle East, then the latter option of a big gamble cash out has prevailed. And what an historic fight that will be!

              - - Haymon and Deyonce already melted in AJ American debut. Why give cowards a payday way above their station in the pecking order?
