    Did Page really beat Coetzee?

Did Greg Page really beat Gerry Coetzee to win the WBA's version of a heavyweight title? The knockout occurred 40 seconds AFTER the round shod have ended. Elias Cordova, the chairman of the WBA's championship committee said the panel had beed satisfied the fight had followed the rules and upheld the ko. How can that be though when the rules are clear a round ends after 3 minutes? In my opinion the fight should have been declared a no contest with an immediate rematch. What say you boxing fans?

    - -Dirty DKing tricks.

Also screwed Coetzee out of he Snipes win where he knocks down Snipes hard to send him fleeing for his life the rest of the fight. Snipes did the sharpshooting in his next fight vs Holmes.

How did King manipulate this fight, and is there any proof of it. I've never even heard his name attached to this controversy itself. No one could predict Page would knock Coetzee out 40 seconds after the bell should have rang, not even Don King. The WBA should have made this fight a NC.

Even I'm now intrigued of getting this info, too.

          - -King M/O- Create a controversial fight and then sell the revenge of the rematch. WBA and the rest in cohoots as they make most their $ on title fights. No bigger crook in boxing, so why ask unless you're clueless?

But there was no rematch. And how could anyone know Page would stop Coetzee almost a minute after the bell should have rung?

              - -He couldn't, but he knew Page was a good enough boxer to create a close decision that Page not being the despised South African would've won.

That makes no sense. The fight was in South Africa.

Why does this matter? It's common knowledge that more times than not a close fight will go to the home town fighter. Coetzee on top of that was not a bad guy for the world to hate. He had openly spoken out against apartheid. You still make no sense. There was no conspiracy by Don King. Just some shoddy time keeping which should have resulted in a NC.
