He had openly spoken out against apartheid. You still make no sense. There was no conspiracy by Don King. Just some shoddy time keeping which should have resulted in a NC.

DKing and WBA wash each others' backsides and political venom never respects individual integrity. See Holmesy vs Coezee after Gerrie was the first to KO Leon and huge SA money on the table in SA. Tate, Weaver, and Page all took SA money with no prob.

Page also stayed in a mansion in the suburbs in a a white section that was off limits to black south Africans and didn't once speak out about apartheid. Still no proof of any conspiracy.

Whatever you say there pal. Why don't you provide a link for the whole fight if I have t already. In the meantime I'd like to parlay the bet above with a bet you cannot provide a video of a broadcast HBO talking about a loose piece of tape causi g the cut for 30 minutes. Come on man, I wanna take your money!!

Elias Cordova, the chairman of the WBA's championship committee said the panel had beed satisfied the fight had followed the rules and upheld the ko. How can that be though when the rules are clear a round ends after 3 minutes? In my opinion the fight should have been declared a no contest with an immediate rematch. What say you boxing fans?
So a late bell or no bell? Sounds like a timekeeper not paying attention.

There was no bell. The ko occurred 40 seconds after the 3 minute mark when the bell should have rung. Definitely on the timekeeper. Do you think it should have been declared a NC?

Thanks for taking the conversation back on task . . . Can't blame Page for what occured and if both fighters were fighting at the 3:40 mark and YOU CAN'T prove it was a deleberate setup, i.e. Page was winning the round big and the timekeeper diberaretly let the round go, if that IS NOT the case and the mistake was honest then I would say let the outcome stand. BUT I would think an auto-rematch should have occured.

What if in NFL football the referee misses the 35 second clock and let's the play continue without a delay of game penalty, would you call back a touchdown?

I think so long as the events are not manipulated and are honest mistakes then the play on the field or in the ring should stand.
