Ken Norton,Shavers, Lyle are A fighters but
Spinks,Holmes,Ruddock,Thomas and that guys are c b fighters yea
no, Holmes was retired and given little time to prepare for Tyson, he was right at his very peak. that fight really wasn't fair. It says a lot that Tyson stopped him, but it means nothing when they use the excuses that Holmes went on to accomplish more things. Holmes was fresh off the COUCH fighting Tyson, that's not the same thing.

Spinks also hadn't fought in an entire year before going in against Tyson,. Spinks was looking to retire. I'm not saying these aren't good wins, but these aren't A calibre wins that solidify your place in history. Those guys didn't come to win that night, both did it for money.

You look at a guy like Ali, he's expected to be crushed by Foreman, news articles are saying he might even die. Foreman destroyed the 2 guys that beat Ali. Ali beats him, past his prime. Thats an A+ calibre win that puts Ali in a greatness category all on its own.

When Holyfield came to beat Mike he beat him, I know Tyson wasn't at his best anymore - but thats the closest thing to an A calibre fight that Tyson was in - and not years after his prime (he was at least still 27-28). To be great you have to beat someone that actually comes to win.

      - - Wuz U even born then?

Holmesy had been in training for a year just to fight Tyson who was busy picking up titles.

Spinks was set enough that he didn't fight anymore, but he was never a ducker like Lar was as "supposed" champ.

And What its normal to fight 1 time in year and why isn’t A win since Spinks was Lineal heavyweight champion who was destroyed in 91 seconds both did for money? Well so Tyson did against Lenny and Field then so that doesnt count to them glassy chinny Ken norton decent fighter at best is not A win and im guess if Tyson win in close war against Spinks you wouldn't say that you would say its A win im sure that Spinks didnt want to be destroyed in 91 seconds

And to be great you need to destroy almost everyone not in **** close wars to become some featherfisted bums to become great
