    Boxing's Mount Rushmore?

    Who do you have for boxing's Mount Rushmore? Show your top four fighters and reasons you believe they belong at the top.

    For me, I think the heavyweight division rules the roost. Like the true Mount Rushmore there may have been better Presidents overall, but these guys are symbolic of boxing.

    John L. Sullivan: Boxing's fist heavyweight champion

    Jack Dempsey: Boxing's first mega star

    Joe Louis: 25 title defenses and adored by everyone in a divided nation.

    Muhammad Ali: was the king of the best heavyweight era

                I think everyone mentioned so far, with the exception of Willie Pep and Henry Armstrong, has been accused of domestic violence. Whether the accusations are true or not, I can't say.

                  Yea I understand - they all seem to have quick hands and most of the rumors had some foundation to them, I suspect - but JJ is without doubt, he put two different wives in hospital, literally. I also suspect there are a host of Black women as well who had no public voice. He looks to have had a disorder. Maybe just too much anger. You can only swallow so much anger in a smile then it comes out at the wrong time. Can't live JJ's life and not have some demons.

                    I like yours so far with Armstrong. Gotta have Robinson, the all time top pound for pound guy in there.
