Bums of the month " they were called then and now, were special indeed. These bums would not be ranked at heavyweight today!!!! But they were ranked back in the 1930's. Someone had to be.

Wlad would not lose a round let alone get knocked down from these " bums " . Give him those small gloves that Louis used and he might be arrested.

Still no re-match for Vitali vs. Lewis? Why?

You make a mockery of yourself to anyone informed that has seen the films or reviewed the records of who these " Bums lost to "
you’re right Wlad wouldn’t lose a round against any guys from the Louis era because it never would last even 1 minute. He would destroy those novices even in his amateur form

I exposed that crazy liar jab bad with multiple vids I have no use to keep speaking to a not sane person

Joe Louis call Jimmy Braddock the bravest man he ever fought.
How about the whole era was trash compared to the 70s-90s is that better

The only thing you've exposed is yourself as a know nothing troll. And I bet 99% of the posters would agree with me on that.

How about the whole era was trash compared to the 70s and 90s? Is that better? I posted multiple videos to you're fellow cult member, exposing him to how trash they were full of obsolete technology and flaws that didn't exist in the eras. I said you have no video to go over mine; no one does.

Why discredit these brave men by calling them trash? What currency is there in doing that?

He thinks it helps make his point. In reality it just shows how little he knows.

Louis never said that. It was a phrase coined by the press because Louis was so easily dispatching the competition. The phrase stuck, but Louis as far as I know was very respectful of the men he fought.

Funny you posted this. These guys are fighting in a phone booth, not from range. Also, where is the advanced lateral movement? Isn't that part of your criteria of flaws? Great fight though....two warriors.

"They don't fight from range much; they leave themselves open a lot. A lot of times, they will just throw themselves into the body and not protect themselves. They use mostly counters when up close"

During and interview with Louis and Ali, Ali said he wanted to emulate Joe Louis and be a fighting champ, adding that he wanted to have his own 'bum of the month club.'

Later in the discussion Ali ribbed Louis a little asking him if he would have fought him back then.

Louis, with his wonderfully dry wit, replied: "I certainly would have made you one of my bums."

I believe, don't know, that Louis was speaking in jest. The phrase "bum of the month club" did not come from Joe, that I do know.
