          Thanks Colin. Yes Holmes had a good uppercut but it didn't really stand out for me. I'll have to watch some more of his fights again(any suggestions where his uppercut was on great display?)

                Kallie Knoetze was a South African heavyweight in the 70s, had a very good right hand, not much technique or anything like that but the right hand was devastating.

                His rival Gerrie Coetzee had a pretty good right hand himself, The Bionic Hand.

                  Class, thanks Manmachine.

                  I guess it's because Holmes fought on the outside all the time so you didn't see him throw it, but on the inside his uppercut was lethal.
                  Frankly his hooks were just as good imo.

                    Lewis had an excellent jab. One of the best I've seen. The only problem was getting him to throw it.

                    MS used to tear his hear out over Lennox's lazy jab. I remember him once saying he could win big fights using it and nothing alone if he chose to.
