At his best he was just better all round. Much faster.

Why exactly? Duran was at least as good if not better than Chavez at everything Chavez was good at, and was more versatile.

I see Chavez lasting the distance, which says enough about him, but he wouldn't outfight, outbox, or outsmart Duran.
