    Roy jones vs Tommy hearns

if it happened in 91-93 i'd pick Roy
    roy woulda ko'd em
    early on,roy was powerful
    hearns had a glass chin
flurries woulda urned hearns lights out
roy by ko in the 7th

if it happened when both were prime(somehow)
i'd pick Roy by stoppage in the late rounds

hearns is my fav boxer but i do think he would lose this matchup by ko. on the oterside of the coin just one of hearns' straight rights or left hooks would lay jones out jones was just alot beter at avoiding punches.

I don't think Jones would just overwhelm Hearns early on, but he would eventually get him.

Against Hearns, Roy would certainly have to be careful as well. I could see Hearns knocking him out but it could be difficult because of Roy's having foguht at higher weights for most of the time.

in their primes at middleweight. hearns knocks out roy with a straight right, hearns was a phenomenol boxer just ask sugar ray.

Well their respective primes were at different weight levels. Roys at middle and Hearns' peak at welter so thats kinda moot. However I think Hearns' handspeed was fantastic and if he came out like he did against Hagler he would have a good chance to put Roy down for the count.

Otherwise I think Roy rides his bicycle around the ring for a UD.

tommy hearns was a prime middleweight
roy jones was a prime middleweight
i think roy would be too much for tommy
              while hearns is squared up
roy would be duckin, movin side 2 side and poppin em outta nowere
he'd lean from tommys reach and flurry back with powerful lefthooks and straight rites

Hearns is one of my favorite boxers also, but I see Jones winning by ether late round tko or UD.

Power wise I'd say they were both equal, but Jone's unorthodox speed allowed him to hit opponents in unsuspecting areas.

jones Is also naturally a Bit bigger. My 2 cents.

                    i cosign
but hearns had more pop in his right hand
having more pop in your punch can be the diffrence between hard punchers
roy has pop,but tommy be slangin that strait rite beautifully and hard as ****
but roy would be able to overcome all that with his movement and athleticism
                    roy was amazing

see now i woulda thought u people would be calling it a leonard-hearns repeat
but leonard aint as fast, quick or athletic as roy
