Kid Leon was a novice, moreover is there a fighter of that era who wouldn't jump at an Ali offer?

That ain't what happened.
Why Lar be ducking Duane Bobick and Jimmy?

Kenny, bless him, never won a title shot. He never fought for a vacated title.
Lar won a controversial title and sacked it as soon as it was convenient.

Why are you bringing up Holmes and besmirching one of the greatest heavyweight title fights in history?
I guess we could discuss how Larry fought with an injured arm and still won, but something tells me you would still make excuses to put down one of boxing's all time greats. If you were in favor of him I have little doubt you would be making up things like he broke his arm before the fight, still won and than flew off to the Ukraine to have surgery. I'll stick with the facts, Kickball.

When a title is stripped or vacated the two top contenders fight to see who will become the next standing champion.

I recite the WBC facts as to their title, THEIR title, and Kenny, bless him, never won a title fight much less the WBC.
U in the new WBC BridgetteWeight ratings?
