Well Ezz and Marciano weren't too far apart in weight (Because I don't think Ezz gained alot of weight when he went up from light heavy) when they fought - plus Ezz had a height and reach advantage, was a naturally skilled boxer, very quick liked to box from the outside. Granted by the time he faced Rock the first his skills had started to slip BUT he was still very good.

Point being, everyone has styles they have trouble with. No fighter is immune to that.

Ive Been thinking alot recently about Rocky Marciano, on me revamped list he is at Number 10. with foreman at 11. But im constantly considering in switching them two round. Technically Marciano wa probably the worst of the Greats. He had 49-0 in the weakest era of all the greats. He should of even been 48-1

Everything was a little different then and some things weren't as enforced, however the point I was trying to make is - yes, Frazier had a high punch rate too BUT Marciano was a true swarmer. He never stopped throwing punches. Punches from all angles. And he would hit you anywhere, arms, chest, head.

His best defense was a constant and relentless offense.

Marciano was one of the true greats. He'll be forever remembered as a great king of the prize ring, along with Dempsey, Ali, and Louis.
