Leonard was as close to a complete fighter as you could find and just look at the fighters styles he managed to beat.
    - -Agree stylistically he had all the bases covered and more, but he didn't want to fight Duran, it was the powers that forced it.

Net result gravy train derailed he entered into self doubt that exposed his carrion scavenger ignoble side that carried him thru.

Sal Sanchez died age 23 with a better record than the entire prolonged post Duran career of Ray, but he a Mexican in a fleawt division never due more than perfunctory accolades.

      Harsh, but true.

The performances against Duran, Hagler, Hearns and even LaLonde were pretty impressive, though. But all, except for Hearns, were far from their best.

In fact in the 8th round your guy turned his back and quit and Leonard was also winning the 8th....the fight was set And Duran knew it and it was big points defeat heading his way.
Leonard turned master boxer and Duran had no answer and that’s the facts weirdo.
        Speed speed speed
Maybe rewatch the fights before discussing them? That way you won't look like a clueless f'aggot crushing on "Sugar".

Leonard's speed AND SIZE was insufficient for beating a fit Duran. Timing and footwork forced an inside fight where Ray's advantages were neutralized. Duran was a much superior fighter. It's obvious to everyone other than you

sure it is lol...is that why your considered a clueless cretin by most on this site.
If Leonard used his superior footwork and speed the first fight Duran would have been out boxed like in the 2nd fight...the facts are right under your nose son and it's the reason why Duran lost to Wilfred Benitez and kirklaing Lang as well...he cannot handle speed and footwork.
Leonard was just better than him and that’s the way it is.
I know you cannot handle it but accept it ass *****eter
