Yup. That's why, as you have seen over the past couple years, I like to base my on facts.

My opinions of said fighters are based on footage, record and reports (taken in context).

Others may voice their own opinions; but if they violate truth, I'll expose them.

Again, you're being sloppy and lazy. Refer to the record. It's plainly spelled out. As the series progressed Britton won more consistently. He had effectively proven the better boxer, and a skilled counter-puncher. Lewis was talented, but very raw.

What also needs to be remembered is that offense was always favored. Even as recently as Griffith Archer you can see a fighter winning simply for applying pressure.

Through a modern lens, Britton might have won many more fights than the record shows, as we'd likely judge Lewis' offense as ineffective.

Maxie Rosenbloom, a beautiful fighter... Before him Chyrsanthium Joe Choyinski, who taught many technical tricks to Johnson... And then of course The light weight, welter weight guys...

mendoza, a Spanish *** was one of the first technical guys in the sport as well.
That's funny. Too bad you didn't tell them. All those guys who spent careers taking it on the the chin when they didn't need to. The stereotype of the ***ish fighter was one someone who came to trade... even when he didn't need to.

You mention Rosenbloom. Indeed, he was a defense-first fighter. But only because he didn't like hurting opponents. Ironically, he would later play the stereotypical punch-drunk ex-fighter.

Every group had their purists and brawlers, and everything in between. No point in trying to make everything so simplistic. I really don't get why you need to do that.

Show me an instance where i haven't supported my argument with evidence. I am happy to correct the matter. Usually my sources are available. here, talking about Boxing, it is accepted that people are talking about fighters whose footage they've viewed and records researched. If not, that's not my problem.

The fact that you're not educated enough to see the problems with Cox's website isn't my fault. But he makes ridiculous leaps of judgement. No way that way that would get published even in a news paper or non-fiction book, definitely not an academic article.

If you're butthurt, sorry. But it's time to grow up. Not everything in life can come out of a microwave.

    Inventing things again!?

    Oh what a surprise!?

It's not like you ever invented fights that never happened or anything!

Poor Padawan, I know you wish you could just give me a whole bunch of money and I would give you a belt to make you feel better about yourself, but life don't work that way.

Be happy, though, when everyone else decided you weren't worth it to fix you, they lied and told you you were OK. I won't lie to you, but I do believe you're worth fixing.

The problem is, you don't show any sources. You just expect everyone to take your word for it. I've read hundreds of articles about Gans and many other fighters. I'm still waiting for an article to be posted that shows the same view as you. Gans, like Langford are held in such high esteem because they were as good as advertised and have earned their accolades.

Lets destroy you again... its a record on these threads... I hope for your sake nobody knows your real name... Ok troll lets go!

you expose your ignorance and little else. You never have corralated a point you make to any footage you lyer! Most people here will describe the footage, specifically, or post a video of the footage, you do neither.

a difference of one fight does not make a trend. Accounts ofthe fights between Briton and Lewis state they were all out brawls, with little variation. You cannot claim otherwise with no basis to such a claim...Your making stuff up.

I call BS on your description of ***ish fighters. proof? yes Rosenbloom did not like to Huyt da udda guy...so? that does not discount his methods and how he won fights, and could be considered on the short list of great light heavies... Whats your point? By the way troll, I can guarantee you that at least half the people that post here know why Maxie fought the way he did... Who did you think you were enlightening?

What a dumb thing to say! yeah Maxie did PLAY a punch drunk... he was an actor! What are you implying? There is a tradition coming from Mendoza on up... of ***s fighting using technical skills. Live with it. Example, as given choyinski, leonard, Rosenbloom. before you mention bauer, he was not even tehnically ***ish...

An instance where you actually provided footage, or a source would suffice... you literally never have! Prove me wrong.

There is no academic boxing peer review, there are individuals who speak as pundits from various perspectives. You can agree, or disagree with them... I don't much care for Klompton, I think he is a c unt who does not read posts carefully, assumes an attack on his Dempsey revisionism, but I would never say he has not done his homework... I would not belittle him knowledge wise, only for his conduct posting. Cox is someone who also has polarizing views... but he has researched his material, unlike...You for example. You even thought he was an MMA guy? Lol what a moroni lol.

Im not butthurt, heck... you bring out the sadist in me frankly... slapping your silly butt around is kind of like therapy lol. Its too easy frankly, but you deserve it so heck, I indulge myself...and truth be told i am not much of a sadist at all lol. I could really nail your butt to the wall Rusty but I try to pull a piece of corn out of your s hit sandwiches when I can...

Your so predictable. When you get caught with your sausage in your hand, its name calling time! Thats how I know it hurts lol. padawan lol... LOOK dammit! make this interesting!!! I told you, I revealed to you, I am giving you free shots... I informed you what gets to me lol. I am not lying to you.

But alas the truth is, you cannot even discuss the basics, you even lack that much depth... So I don't know Rusty... best to compete with your ******ed brother in a s hit smearing contest and leave the boxing to people who know a thing, or two.

I wish we could sticky a thread of Tromboneisms: some of them are hillarious. I can't say he is worse than Elroy, but on the same level for sure and Sonny boy with all his Lewis hating was a genius compared.

Thats right Rusty... just say it and it is magically so! You never educated anyone with respect to boxing... they would have to be very low functioning...

Says the guy who thought Gans was more technical than McFarland.

Who also said Lewis was the technical fighter, not Britton.

Who didn't know their series saw Britton take over as it progressed, and scored the only KO between the two.

Who claims Benny Bass, Kew Tendler, Kid Berg, Charlie Goldman, Artie Levine were all great technically sound, defensive Boxers because: Britz and Kinish.
