Lol I thought you were serious at first :P Great post! But man, give it to Abe, he was a freaking BEAST!!! 6 foot 4 inches, 260lbs. He could really punch, had a solid chin, and was strong as a ox! But he was incredibly slow, and got pwned by ol Joe!

          * Aside from Conn and Simon, Louis never knocked anybody out past the twelfth round. But since Simon and Conn were robbed, these knockouts don't count. Thus, it is a fact that Louis could not knock anyone out after the twelfth round, invalidating the Conn and Simon knockouts. Therefore, Simon must have been robbed.

Exhibit A: Grainy stills. These prove that I'm right and you're wrong.

          * Modern boxing--which is superior to old-time boxing--only has twelve rounds. Louis's knockout of Simon in the thirteenth is therefore in clear violation of the rules, and should not count.

Exhibit B: Abe Simon. This photograph clearly shows that Simon is not unconscious, disproving the "knockout myth" once and for all.

Well your logic is fool proof and I cannot argue with it.

Abe Simon would rule today's HW era.

I feel the same way about Peter McNeeley; I had him way ahead on the scorecards before Tyson saved himself with a lucky punch.
