    honest opinion.
I'm of the same opinion as Bert Sugar. I don't think Floyd's scared of Manny per se, but he definitely feels he's a threat to that '0', and Floyd's '0', and his ego go hand-in-hand. For all his bravado, Floyd comes across as an insecure, immature man-child at times, and I don't think he could stand to lose his unbeaten record.

The whole 'Manny is on PEDs' story was cooked up to try and get Floyd every possible advantage going by giving Floyd the mental edge, and possibly making Manny lose focus, but it got out of hand fast. And he couldn't backtrack once he'd accused Manny of Doping and a lawsuit was filed.

He doesn't believe Manny is on PEDs IMO, but he backed himself into a corner, and he'll stay there ( Vacations, Not answering Telephone calls to make the fight ) until the whole thing dies down a little, then he'll crawl back out of the woodwork, fight two or three poor opponents, and then "Retire" again.

Doesn't really matter though - his devoted group of cheerleaders will buy his bull**** and the Benjamins will roll in.

    P4P, Baby!

      not a bad theory.

the dumbest part , if this is true , is that i think floyd beats manny.

it might be close to 50-50 but floyd would have the edge and be favorite to win.

the reach......the height......the styles...... it all favors floyd.

he could have just made $30-40 million and had the greatest win in his career and one of the best wins of the era.

Mayweather schools Pac, and makes him look amateur.

You had to laugh when Floyd went to HBO with suggested fights against Nate Campbell, and/or Matt Hatton, and was promptly told to f.uck off.

            maybe.

the thing is though mayweather his d is kinda useless against the southpaw stance.

usually he corrects for this by going forward more with the high guard.

i don't know if going forward is gonna be a good idea against pacquiao.

the few times i've seen floyd caught clean or stunned , most of it was when he was on the offensive.

make no mistake , he will have to fight pac.

dancing or playing defense won't work against pac with his speed and stamina.

don't forget malignaggi was an option too.

he got caught between a rock and a hard place when berto pulled out of the mosley fight.

after pac-pbf negotiations fell apart , hbo and vegas was not happy.

Floyd's a reet ****. There can be a debate between Pac and Floyd fans over this hypothetical 'King of the Midgets' title, but feck it. Worthless.

                    U.S. Troops at it again.

A British soldier who died in southern Afghanistan on Sunday may have been killed by friendly fire, the Ministry of Defence has said.

The soldier, from the 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, was shot while on patrol in the Nad-e Ali District of Helmand Province.

Initial reports indicate that his death may have been caused by an attack on an insurgent position by a US aircraft, an MoD spokesman said.

The spokesman said: "Further to the announcement of the death of a soldier from 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment in Nad e-Ali yesterday, initial reports suggest that the death was caused as a result of a friendly fire incident.

"The incident will be the subject of a full investigation; however, first reports indicate that an attack on an insurgent position by a US aircraft, requested by and agreed with British forces on the ground, may have been the cause.

"The investigation is ongoing and as such it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage."

The family of the serviceman, who has not yet been named, have been told. The incident in Helmand Province is under investigation by the International Security Assistance Force (Isaf).

The soldier was part of an operation working to increase security in the district, Task Force Helmand spokesman Lieutenant Colonel David Eastman said.

He added: "He has made the ultimate sacrifice protecting the people of Nad-e Ali from insurgent intimidation and defending his country from the threat of terrorism; no more could be asked of any soldier. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him."

A total of 346 UK military personnel have died since operations in Afghanistan began in 2001.
