Can't say that I have heard of him.

ARGENTINIAN playmaker Pablo Aimar is keen on a move to Newcastle,
again I have never heard of him
You've never heard of Pablo Aimar?

Marouane Chamakh would be a great signing. He is 24 years old and plays for Bordeaux. If I was to describe him, I would say he is like a better version of Viduka.

Pablo Aimar used to be world class. The past two years he has dropped in class, but you never know.

We could have had him in January.

NUFC bosses confirm pre-season fixture dates

Jun 25 2008 by Alan Oliver, Evening Chronicle

NEWCASTLE United will warm up for their new Premier League season with friendly matches against top German and Spanish opponents.

Kevin Keegans side will go in against Hertha Berlin and Real Mallorca in the Majorca Summer Cup in Palma and finish their pre-season work with an attractive game with Valencia at St Jamess Park on August 9.

United have been in demand for friendlies and they have agreed to go to both Hartlepool United and Doncaster Rovers.

The Chronicle revealed on June 6 that United would be heading to Majorca for games on August 1 and 3 and this has finally been confirmed.

But the organisers, who saw Manchester City drop out after qualifying for the early stages of the UEFA Cup, have changed the format.

United will go in against Hertha Berlin on Friday, August 1, with an 8pm start, with the hosts taking on Hannover two hours later.

Then on Sunday, August 3, United have the late kick-off against Real Mallorca, with Germans rivals Hertha Berlin and Hannover going head to head two hours earlier.

The format for the tournament is three points for a win, one point for a draw and teams also awarded an extra point for each goal scored.

Any matches that finish level after 90 minutes will be decided on penalties, with three points going to the side that wins the spot-kicks.

Keegans first-team squad will report back for pre-season training on July 7 and have their first run-out on Saturday, July 19, when they make the trip down the A19 to face League One outfit Hartlepool United at Victoria Park (kick-off 3pm).

Seven days later, on Saturday, July 26, Newcastle are again on the road as they make their first visit to the Keepmoat Stadium, home to newly-promoted Championship side Doncaster Rovers (kick-off 3pm).

Keegan is still looking at the possibility of another home friendly, to be played on either Tuesday, August 5, or the following night.

Ticket details for all pre- season friendlies will be announced on www. nufc.co.uk in due course.

Supporters are asked not to contact the Box Office with pre-season ticket inquiries at a time when staff are busy processing season ticket renewals.

Uniteds Reserves pre- season games are: July 11 ?Bishop Auckland (A); July 14 ?Benfield (A); July 21 ?Gateshead (A); July 28 ?Blyth Spartans (A); August 6 ?Blue Star (A).

Former Newcastle player Alan Thompson has taken up a coaching role at the club, he is another of **** sucker Dennis Wise's pals from Leeds, Dennis is getting his troops in place before he goes for a take over, mark my words.
Thompson one of the biggest pricks in football, used to go to school with him he is a major knob head, best thing i ever saw was when he broke his neck in a car crash he had his head and chest in a special metal cradle for months never laughed so much in my life.
