haha, lol, thats it Neils I was about to give you karma but I had to spread some more around, I forgot I had given you one before.

yeah I like the movies, but I love the books more. I think that is the only movie where Tom Riddle is present, dunno about Harry Potter & the Half-Blood prince if they show Tom again, he's Lord Voldemort in the rest.

          I've seen them all now.

I think that they get better as they go along - 3 might be slightly better than 4.

I haven't read the books, but I would rank the movies in this order:

          1. Prisoner of Azkaban
          2. Goblet of Fire
          3. Chamber of Secrets
          4. Sorceror's Stone

glad you agree with me on azkaban.

I made it an hour into Fellowship of the Ring and gave up

I think I may try to watch the LOTR trilogy now that I have sat through the four Potter films...

lol.dont go watching the extended versions, stick with the theatrical cuts.

I dont have a favorite out of that trilogy...each has a set of memorable scenes I dont think any one of them is much better than the other.

I just checked the imdb scores...8.8 is definetly too high.

                Solid sevens all around.

children of men appeals to me. looks like it would be a good flick.
                  kinda handmaiden tale-ish.

i love the harry potter books. the movies never do them justice though.
i was thoroughly disappointed in goblet of fire movie. but the books get better with each one. seems like they are geared more toward adults now.

what i mean is that the first 2 movies, were obviously very tame.
the books that followed those seem less kid-friendly. good guys keep dying, and the ultimate bad guy isn't caught. you just don't expect that in kid movies.
