This dude dumbfoundead (asian dude) is a ****in riot man. I don't want to post some of his lyrics, just cause I don't want to ruin it for y'all. But, just listen to his verses.


Listen to how he kills this old dude. He came average on his first verse, but everything after that was straight comedy. **** it, dude said "You so old, you were in the first silent battle"

I hate rap battles because they don't even flow. All they do is rhyme sentences

Pumpkin Head is an underground vet, maybe not too good of a battler, he makes some dope music, though.

I like the accapella better because it allows it to be just about the mc and their lyrics, presentation and delivery, flow..etc. Also, there's a lot more heat when it is accapella because it's easier to come up with complex rhyming schemes and to set up different variations of disses when you don't have to stay in synch with a beat.

Killa, I disagree. Some of these battlers, like kid twist, don't flow very well, but most of them flow well. Their flows get chopped up, from time to time, because they often have to stop because the crowd is laughing so hard.

And, I actually like the fact that these guy's write their ****. Freestyle battles are cool, but they often turn out weak because it's harder to come up with insane material when it's just freestyled.


You need to listen to more grindtime battles. With all the heat they drop, you'd reconsider saying you wish it was freestyled, because I guarantee that more than half of their material would not occur if it was freestyled.

I agree with the written ****, I kinda like how they write their rhymes and perform them to the other dude's face. Freestyling is much harder, sure, and I respect guys like Super Natural who can go off the top, but these battles are pretty entertaining, too.

Soul Khan and Concieted are funny also.

But yeah, imagine if you had Nas and Jay "battling" like these guys, Nas performing "Ether" right in Jay's face and Jay coming back with "Tha Takeover" or some ****.

Of course these guys aren't as good as Nas and Jay, but they're great at what they do.
