            Bro, Oscar has been bias towards black people for a long time. Even the oscar he got for training day is suspect. Him, Sidney poitier, and Halle Berry all on the same night?

            And, yes, winning fighter of the year is not gauge on the best boxer. It just meant out of everyone else you had the best selections that year/or you won the most meaningful or memorable fights.

              And I totally disagree about FOTY. It's the gauge that should be used.

                      Here, I assume your salient point is the bias against black people. I ask, since you say FOTY is not a good gauge (just like you say Oscar is not a good gauge for acting), is it because FOTY is bias against black people (just like you argued the Oscar was).
