    The economy

I posted what my wife does before. She runs a store in the mall. Yesterday they did 19k and it's been like this for months now. These are avg 10.00 items.

The company cut her bonus structure 3 months ago because of all the business. So all the managers got together and called the company. Now they're back on the normal bonus structure.
First three months her bonus was 1900.00 a month after taxes. Her numbers are Christmas numbers. People are spending like crazy and it's been non stop.

So this month her bonus is 3300.00 on top of her pay lol. This has been crazy!

The economy is going crazy. Anyone else work in retail? How's your malls doing? They said they're dead before all this and now better number than ever. Just nuts.

If anyone thinks I'm full of it I'll post her pay stub next month.

I am really glad your wife is doing well, and you.

I am at the opposite end though. Totally reliant on the oil industry in the North Sea........I have taken to agency jobs to get by. I will literally take anything at this point...... apart from prostitution.

I have to believe that it’s because:

People making more on unemployment than their job

      +

People not working provides abundance of free time

      =

      Lots of money spent!!

But no BS the economy has been doing well, most restaurants and bars are open outside and I know for a fact that real estate and auto sales are doing very well.
      I’m in California.

My wife is in the medical field and she was given hazard pay during all this obviously but just recently got a back date pay raise for not missing work during the pandemic. The odd thing was they back dated her raise from January 1st 2020 so it was an incredible bonus.

My business is doing very well, the economy is supposedly in a recession but we don’t feel it.

Places that are hurting are barber shops, salons, and anything else that deals on an interpersonal level. Everything else dealing with retail, landscaping, real estate and cars are doing very well at the moment. Even restaurants, some are definitely hurting but some are actually busier than ever.

People are bored as fk. They want to get out of the house and do stuff.

I'm so bored I drove almost an hour to go look at an SUV and my lease is not up until July of 2021 lol

I just wanted to take a ride with the wife and my daughter to get out for a while

Some people have it good and others are falling on tough times. I'm working and my wife is a teacher so we never lost any pay. We banked all that stimulus money and our 401k are through the roof the last 3-4 months .

Hopefully everyone gets on their feet again. This lockdown is bull sh×× at this point, it's time for people to get back to work and in a safe manner.

If retail has recovered that well, that means Trump probably gets re-elected. I heard he's been catching up to ***** already anyway.
