Yeah, one of my favorite bands in high school. I started listening to them around the time I started smoking weed. Funny thing is, I'm not even a fan of that genre of rock, but I just love them. If you had to pick a sound that defined the area I grew up in and the times (late 90s/early 00s), it would be Sublime. Skateboards, weed, girls with crazy dyed hair, acoustic guitars, etc.
I'll never forget being a high school punk driving around with my friends at 1AM singing songs like Santeria and Date ****. Good old days.
R.I.P. Brad Nowell, I can't listen to the song Badfish without tearing up a little. I always felt this song was a subtle cry for help for his addiction.
