Astros take game two on a Correa HR in the 11th inning....they really needed to win this one at home.

I'll give NYY credit. Their pitchers are matching up with Hou's vaunted ace's very well (so far).
2-0 would have been asking too much for NYY. Same as going 3-0 at home asking a bit much. Even though both parks are tiny as fu ck, I see the next 3 games having a ton of runs in NY.

Yanks squandered a bunch of opportunities. This game ended fair and square, it just wasnt meant to be. 3-2 is a heartbreaker but they gotta make up for that in the BX. They have 3 games there now.
Sanchez complaining about that pitch outside to end the inning, honestly he needs to stay shut cause the pitch right before that was an inning ending strike out that his bat didnt come close to touching and the ****** ump called it a foul tip. So while Sanchez was right, that pitch was several inches outside, the ump was just giving the Astros the k he took from them in the previous pitch.
And Boone should sit Sanchez down, he clearly isnt cutting it in the postseason with his .111 average this postseason and like .180 overall in his career in the playoffs. I told my friend I prefer to see Romine get an opportunity. Sit Sanchez down at least one game and allow Romine to play.

I have a feeling Correa and the Astros will regret showboating with his WWE bs he did with his walkoff homer. They’re gonna have to answer for that in the Yankees Stadium when they get pounced again like they did in June. You just don’t do that in a game 2 after getting whooped 7-0, and have at least 3 games to go, and at most 5 more games. You wait to do all that showboating when you win the ALCS. We’ll see how the Yanks respond to that at home. It will probably light a fire under them and wake those bats up. Correa just made a big mistake, shoulda just trotted the bases and celebrate like any normal walkoff homer instead of doing all that extra stuff.

Im not against showboating, im just kinda scratching my head at him doing it in game 2, and doing it like that. Usually gloating like that comes from teams with animosity towards eachother, and theres none between Yanks and Astros. Im not sure if hes trying to make the Yankees mad and wake their bats up and make Severino and the rest of the pitching staff pitch with some venom in this 3 game Yankee Stadium homestand. Because I think thats what may happen.

It was just too much, especially for a mere 3-2 win coming off a 7-0 loss where the Yankees did not gloat at all at that beating with any of the homers. Correa did a 2003 Aaron Boone ALCS game 7 celebration for a game 2 win that tied the series 1-1.
