The real question is if the Lakers move back to Minnesota how many fans will stay loyal?

And there's no comparing warriors fans and Lakers fans

Lakers have had a large dedicated fan base going back to the 1960s

In fact warriors arena was practically a laker home arena some years up there

                Boxing fans be like :

I am a fan of the sport of boxing and not of a particular fighter like Floyd.

but in basketball you cannot say :

I am a fan of the sport of Basketball and not of a particular team.

Its really idiotic to ridicule someone of being a 'bandwagon' fan

                LOL

If you watch basketball and not root for a team, you're just a casual fan

                  Just simple as that

Just like watching boxing and not being fans of certain boxers

But more likely than you being a fan of the sport

You're just full of shiet and trying to claim you dont root for certain teams

I become a Raptors fans because of Kawhi.

I admired the Spurs from afar, Greg Popovich, David Robinson, Duncan, Bowen, Ginobli... well-run team. But I couldn't justify how they threw Kawhi under the bus the way they did regarding his injury/non-injury. It never sat right with me, and the Spurs just kept doubling down on their stance... I lost respect for them a bit.

And I couldn't help but root for Kawhi... and in turn, I couldn't help becoming a Toronto Raptors... it just happened. I enjoyed Toronto's win. Glad for Raptors fans, glad for Kyle Lowry, glad for Marc Gasol jumping on board... sad for DeMar DeRozan.

Yeah feel bad for DeMar. He was a huge fan favorite here. Still is. Wished Kawhi had ReSigned but I can't be mad at the guy. He played his heart out, gave us a chip and then went home. Wish him nothing but wins with the Clips.

And yeah, his victory was also a well deserved middle finger to the Spurs.
