Forgotten Music Groups Who Released A Bunch Of Classics?

          completly agree. I might throw Big Star and Joe Strummer on that list

                  I didn't even know those -- I don't live in the U.S.
                  ... Bobby Bare i remember... I grew up with Cohen...
