Forgotten Music Groups Who Released A Bunch Of Classics?

IDK about "forgotten". I hear all of the above artists played on the overhead speakers in stores, on Pandora if I put in 80's. I think, if you hear any 80's music at all, you're hearing those. I guess it's all relevant to what kind of music you're listening to. I hear those because my wife likes to hear 80's music (which is weird because she didn't grow up with those songs).

When I think of forgotten, I think of bands who are rarely talked about or played despite being big in their respective genres at some point or another. T-Rex. The Damned. Gheto Boys. John Prine.
