I, for one, would appreciate warning labels on the food I eat.

After Irma and Maria, I ate more canned meat than any human being should ever consume. Now, I all of a sudden find out this terrifying Canelo drama and all this talk about Clenbuterol.

I read that the ship called El Faro got sunk by category 4 Joaquin close to Ba*****. It seem the captain was calm to the end though. That must have be some horrific **** to see those level waves and winds up close on a ship.

Yes, I understand that. The chemical is created by the roasting process. Hence the term "coffee." Coffee is the end product of beans being roasted and then brewed. It's still safe.

Yeah. When the coffee beans are roasted and the chemical is formed, that chemical remains on the coffee beans and is still present when the coffee beans are brewed to make coffee. That's why the warning is being implemented.

California keeps a list of chemicals it considers possible causes of cancer. One of them is acrylamide, which is created when coffee beans are roasted. The chemical stays in the coffee you drink in what the court called a "high amount."

Is there scientific evidence that acrylamide is proven to give people cancer?

Studies in rodent models have found that acrylamide exposure increases the risk for several types of cancer (10–13). In the body, acrylamide is converted to a compound called glycidamide, which causes mutations in and damage to DNA. However, a large number of epidemiologic studies (both case-control and cohort studies) in humans have found no consistent evidence that dietary acrylamide exposure is associated with the risk of any type of cancer (9, 14). One reason for the inconsistent findings from human studies may be the difficulty in determining a person’s acrylamide intake based on their reported diet.

The National Toxicology Program’s Report on Carcinogens considers acrylamide to be reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen, based on studies in laboratory animals given acrylamide in drinking water. However, toxicology studies have shown that humans and rodents not only absorb acrylamide at different rates, they metabolize it differently as well (15–17).

Studies of workplace exposure have shown that high levels of occupational acrylamide exposure (which occurs through inhalation) cause neurological damage, for example, among workers using acrylamide polymers to clarify water in coal preparation plants (18). However, studies of occupational exposure have not suggested increased risks of cancer (19).

Yeah, I've thought about how freaky it must be to be out in the middle of the ocean, right in the middle of a hurricane. When Maria was here, for sure I thought I'd see Hell on Earth, in terms of lightning storms and such. Our mountains did a good job of fighting the storm, however, and, although horrific, we survived. A lot of people died, though. The crazier part was the whole bodies being hidden by the government deal.

Soooooo we can get Cancer warnings on Coffee but can’t get accurate sugars and nutritional facts on our food.

Yet they are $400 billion in debt. Can't afford to fix crumbling dams and have a homeless crisis hat rivals third world countries.

Tell other states too stop sending people here because they can’t provide for them.
