What Do You Do With Your QB Situation if You're Philadelphia?

On one hand you have a young first round pick Carson Wentz who is primed to be the future of the organization due to his talent and ability.

On the other hand you have a QB in his prime who has now proven he can lead a team to a super bowl victory in Nick Foles.

Would Philadelphia be crazy in keeping Foles and signing him to a big contract while trading Wentz to the Browns for their 2 first round picks and maybe even their 2nd and 3rd rounder and more?

Tough call. Do I want a young star QB with a repaired ACL which may be prone to injury, or do I stick with a guy who stands a good chance of taking me deep into the post season next year? I think Foles contract as a back up was something like 5 years $27M with a $3M signing bonus. Paid off.

As a coach, I would try to hold onto him for one more season just to see how Wentz knee holds up and if he's still the same.

Really don't think it's that hard of a decision, wentz is younger, better passer, and more athletic. He has far more upside and potential. Possibly keep foles as a backup till his contract is up or possibly trade him, I think a lot of teams would give up something decent to get him

Without knowing anything about their contracts, or Eagle cap space or anything, I would try to keep them both. I would definitely want to see how Wentz recovers from his injury. I thought he did great and can be a franchise qb for someone, if healthy. At the same time, it's hard to just can the guy that got you a ring. Tough call

What? Do nothing. Nick's salary for this year is like 4 million dollars. That's a steal for a quarterback that led the team to a superbowl victory over Brady, and that kind of insurance in case Wentz turns out to be Sam Bradford 2.0 is worth more than any pick.

With Foles you can get at the very least a high 2nd round pick, possibly a 1st. With Wentz it's probably 2 first round picks, however, Foles is proven in the playoffs and on the biggest stage.

And as everyone have said, you play the waiting game and see how Wentz comes back from a major injury. IF Wentz is Bradford 2.0 you trade him for something, if he recovers fine and plays at a high level, you trade Foles for at least a 2nd round pick, possibly more.

Keep them both. I can't think of many teams that have two bona fide starter qb's on their team.

I would keep Wentz he was probably the MVP before he got injured , Foles was inconsistent but played his best two games against Minnesota and Patriots

Have to see what he looks like coming off an injury.
