    This is what the ****ing NY KNICKS should do..

    God damn, I ain't a billionaire but even I can figure out what to do with the Knicks...

    These dudes just fired Phil Jackson which was the right move


    But now these idiots want to trade Carmelo


    Now trading Carmelo was viable a year or 2 ago, or they just shouldn't have resigned him... but they did resign him so this is what they should do..


    Don't trade Carmelo with 2 years left

    Don't trade porzingas

    Shouldn't have signed hardaway to that big deal...


    Keep both Carmelo and porzingis and ditch triangle and go up tempo, hopefully compete for a 6-8 seed in the weak east..


    Next year free agency, you still have Carmelo and porzingis..

    Sign free agents to NYC- lebron, chris Paul, wade....


    It's the Knicks so the "banana boat" crew isn't in the shadow of past greats,,, plus they have a young stud in porzingis..

    Knicks 2018-19

    Porzingis
    Wade
    Lebron
    Paul
    Carmelo
    With a bunch of role players

    Wade, Paul and lebron take short money 1 year deals...

    If it fizzles, then everyone but porzingis is a free agent..


    1 year experiment




    All those dudes want to play together,,, time running out, and the Knicks have Carmelo,, plus it's a huge market that hasn't won anything in 2 generations.. much more viable than lebron joining lakers and trying to out do magic or Kobe

        that's a good vision assuming the banana boat crew is on board(no pun intended).

        But if they're not I agree with keeping Carmelo until his contract runs out and get a lottery pick the next 2 years. Don't sign anyone past 2019 and with 4 high picks (Porzingis+Nitilikina+2) and all that cap space in 2019 they can sign 2 more superstars and just like that they will be contenders in the East.

                They have to trade Melo ditch Noah in the trade if possible. Tank for 3 to 4 years like Philly for picks and start a rebuild. Whatever they do they can't sight anymore mediocre players to long term bad deals. Nobody gets more than a 1 or 2 year unless they're a superstar

                    sure, if youre surrounded by all stars or training hof'ers, you should win a few titles.
                    but turning bench players/BUMS into champs.....thats what makes a guy great.
