Oh come on. They are fighting ISIS in Syria because Assad is 'their guy'. Show me Russia fighting terrorism in any territory they dont control or want to control. Thats why I said they arent an ally. If ISIS was only a problem in Iraq Russia would sit back and laugh.

Its actually very simple. Russia is a Syrian Ally. Syria called upon Russia for help to fight the *********s and CIA / Saudi / Quatar funded "rebels" invading their country. Russia obliged. Sorry, but it seems to me that Russia is in the right and the ***** administration was trying the whole time to create a justification to attack the Assad Regime, not ISIS. After years of the ***** administration failing at doing this and painting everyone but themselves to be the bad guy while actually funding ISIS instead of fighting them, the Trump administration has stepped up and is taking a serious approach to actually fighting them. Russia is willing to cooperate, not only to strike them together with the US, but also as a way to start cooperating with eachother instead of working against eachother and continuing to mount tensions. Why is this a bad thing?

Even though Saudi Arabia is probably the main source of funding for international terrorism, Richard Nixon made a pact with them to continue selling them arms in exchange for financing the US deficit, which has indebted the US to Saudi Arabia for decades. Even though the US knows about Saudi Arabia's support for terrorism, breaking the Saudi / US bond or implementing any kind of ban on the country would be no easy feat and it would probably come back to bite America in the ass in the long run. Sad, but it is what it is.

But just to play along with what youtube told you, IF the US and the Saudis were jointly funding ISIS to overthrow Assad, the US would never turn their back on the Saudis and then work with Russia against the Saudis.
