Hispanic heritage month starts today.

I agree, Hispanic month, as well as African American month are ******. We are not relegated to one month out of the year. We deserve all 12 months, because we are as American as anyone else.

What we need to do is teach Hispanic and Black history as American history and not some specialized form of our history. All the year round.
