I rarely bet but I put on $50 on Peterson to beat Garcia, mainly cause I was in a casino with my buddy and his fiancee, and I hate slots/cards so I watched the fight and drank like another $25 away lol.
I know i lost some money on Moreno to beat Mares too but i forgot how much, probably only like $20. Same with Gonzales over Russel. But i only do it in person to pass time, so i never consider it a huge loss. Most I won was a few years back I bet like $100 on the Chiefs to end the Packers perfect season. That was awesome, cause the $100 was from my bank accidently messing up my deposit like two months earlier so it was kinda like free $ in my mind, and it was awesome odds.
some of you are citing good bets that didn't pan out. good odds, better fighters, etc.
bad bets are instances where you picked the wrong guy, had bad odds, and put down a lot of money.
i don't make those. i'm a genuine expert on this sport. got a nice sized d#ck, too.
some of the easiest money i ever made was betting floyd to win on points against canelo in vegas. i should have stoned up and bet more. i could have funded the trip. easy money.
me and a bunch of black dudes were waiting in line at the MGM to collect our "mayweather money." they had a few, good natured jokes at my expense.
i know that feeling, i use to have a greyhound that ran at shawfield stadium, my trainer told me to get on it as it was a sure thing, so i went and told all my m8s, family, work colleagues, and even my boss that it was a sure thing, it got badly bumped at the first bend and got beat on the line narrowly.
Felt like a proper ****, most people realised these things happen, but some blamed me outright for their loss of money
It was not a nice feeling. However, I'm still not afraid to throw out the odd boxing tip at work. I'm not asking for a cut of their winnings if my tip pays, so I'm taking any stick if the bet loses
