Make mine a stripeless in Oxford White.

They had a Avalanche Gray one at Texas World Speedway.

From an interview with Shelby Brand Mangager Jim Owens, it will have over 520 horsepower.

That's nice and all, but cornering? Any testing done on lateral g's?

They have had test mules running around the 'Ring for a minute now.

            They are targeting the Z/28.

So I would say pretty high for a pony car.

I just checked the Z/28 stats and it says 1.08
I honestly though it was way lower, if they can get it near that I'll still be pretty impressed. Then again Chevy also says their vented hood adds 450lbs more downforce so who knows...

IMO it's ugly. Give me a Foxbody notch(87-93)... that newer motor in the foxbody would be nice. I have a buddy of mine that runs NMRA in Coyote Stock with a foxbody coyote swapped(10 sec car with that sealed motor). I liked the '65 and '66 GT350 styling... not the 289ci motor though. The last body style Mustang that I thought looked good was the '03 Cobra body style. That new Ford GT looks good but to hell with that V6(I understand it's for racing purposes but only a limited number so it should have a V8 as optional).

I want to see what that flat crank motor makes with some bolt-ons and a tuning. I'm very interested to see it in a nice light chassis.

Here's Shane's car... he's won the Coyote Stock Championship twice in a row.

IMO that new GT350 is ugly compared to these 1965 GT350's

True. I'm not a muscle car guy, the only mustang I really like is the 1969/1970 Mach 1.

The specs are out on the power output.
