Can someone explain the concept of "injury time" in soccer to me?

It's good though, brings the banter.
Now it's turned into "educate the English on English."

      That makes too much sense.

The players would always know exactly how much time is left. And there would be little room for corrupt refs to give certain teams a bit of extra time to try to get a score.

I did laugh, when I read his post.

But I wrote it in perfect English isn't I?

Actually it would have the effect of slowing down the game. Every throw-in, every free kick, every goal kick would be a little break for the players, it would amount to a "time-out" for everyone.

i guess you've got to find something to do when your team doesn't make it out of the group stage.

"We wasn't" is the sort of thing only uncultured inbred yokels in the south say here in America. Which, now that I think of it, might explain your usage.
I associate grammatical errors like that with another American cultural group, but so be it.

The game stops and the players stop running when the ball goes out of bounds. It's already a stoppage of play; it would make sense to stop the clock as well. The clock keeps running when the ball is kicked over the goal and into the bleachers, ffs.

I don't even like her but that is just comedy
