Buddha has nothing to do with yoga.

Meditation and yoga are two different things.

The idea is to clear the concience mind and allow our subconcience mind to take over and it can show and take us places.

Monks in Tibet etc devout their whole lives to this practice and can control their subconcience and can experience things that we can only dream of.

I know I sound like some stoner hippy but I have had a small experience in this when I was younger so I know that it is competely possible but we are too enthralled in our materialistic lives to realize.

The subconcience is nearly unexplored in western science.
Yea I suppose its more complicated than I realize. Oh well, I'll the do the best I can.

Like I said, you seem to be benefitting from it so keep it up.

If you can take something positive from anything then its a good thing and worth your time trying.

Actually, yes. I've had an incredible amount of stress and anxiety this year due to work.

I usually do deep slow rhythmic breathing focusing on my breath and mind as I repeat a mantra.

I also have started doing light yoga and stretching exercises in conjunction with the mediation at night to relax.

It's a good natural way to chill out and silence the demons

Yea I started this and have decided to really cut back on the drink. I'm prone to panic attacks and when I get drunk, sometimes the next day I get some real vicious attacks throughout the day. Its something that used to happen way more in 2010 and 2011. It slowly got better over the years but recently has returned with a vengeance. What makes the panic/anxiety even more arduous is that I have acid reflux. The combination is terrible.

              Something has to be done.

It's an incredible plane of consciousness. I recommend getting deep into your mind, way deep in there. As an athelete that's where I learned to connect my mind to my muscles, with the mind being the one that rules. Lots of other stuff to find in there as well.

I would also do a sort of meditation before bouts.

The mind is an amazing thing if you allow it to be.

                Meditation=Good Stuff................ Rockin'

Obviously you cannot stop yourself from thinking and completely blank your mind, but your brain/mind is in a relaxed state, not worrying or focusing on anything in particular.

I do it for 20 minutes in the morning, 5 minutes in the afternoon and another 15-20 minutes in the evening. The hardest part about it is disciplining yourself to take the time out of the day to do it.

                  What say you?
I say you're a little faqqot pretending to be a hard drinker. Meditate some more you little *****.
