Damn, is REED trying to take credit for another poster's thread idea? No wonder people say he's always on a power trip.

Obviously if you choose to only cover half the distance each time then you will never get there. Towards the end you will be moving very small, imperceptible amounts each time but theoretically you could keep doing that forever.

In real life though no one only travels half the distance every step when they're trying to get somewhere.

I just used motion this morning with my hand to come all over the bed (which my mom will clean later)

First I went all the way in, then I went 3/4 of the way out, then I went all the way in again and I repeated a couple dozen times.
