Whatever happen to the good ole days when people would use their fist? I mean i'm anti-violence, but had that disgruntled employee just fought a fair one with that guy he disliked no innocent bystanders would've been hurt, and they both be here today.

Scars and bruises heal, but gun shot wounds kill. people need to stop hiding behind the trigger, and fight like men. that way you'll release whatever tension you have towards that individual and still make it home in time for supper. lol

Precisely. A state having strict gun laws means little when the other 49 have have mixed gun legislation.

If guns are easily obtained in surrounding states, then there is the likelihood that they can be transported or smuggled across state borders.

The U.S needs blanket gun legislation. There is too much state to state variance for any kind of gun-control to be effective.

even then it changes nothing because guess what? remember all those guns sold to mexico? now they just come back across the border in a lucrative black market trade.

so what was solved? your not gonna simply take away a part of the culture and expect a utopia.

bad people will still get guns. with or without government law.

I'm just saying, that for urban police, accuracy and coolness under fire are pretty damn important to containing a situation. You also can't aim a gun in multiple directions at once, meaning there were those who didn't have to immediately react in pure self-defense. Look how much worse it turned out. The actual gunman was only after one guy, who he executed at point blank and walked off.
