Has anyone heard this yet? Thoughts on the idea of doing AI standup shows for dead standups? Funny? Not funny? Ethical? AI is gonna kill us all? How similar to George does this feel to you?

Two thumbs down all around. Doesn't sound anything like him and this whole hologram shows for dead musicians thing and now AI standup is super lame.
How many comedians are going to get their material through AI now?

I wonder this myself. People talk about AI being used by non-artists, but if I'm in music, standup, writing, hell lotsa creative professions I'd be using AI to assist me right now to be more productive.Originally posted by Pappy O'Daniel View PostComment

George’s work should be mandatory viewing for all Americans.
He spoke about exactly how people would be divided in this country so the wealthiest at the top could continue to keep power.
He saw how dangerous a lack of education and the lack of the ability to think critically about issues would be.
I still watch his old stuff from time to time. Brilliant work.

I'm not a fan of it myself. They are trying to capture the essence of George but are lacking the energy, and the canned laughter gives it a cheesy sitcom feel.Comment
