The premise of this thread was Students attacking teachers, but you didn't want to speak about that. Why not? You changed the subject so that the conversation would go down a different path. So, I understandably posted what I did in order to keep things on track. If you want to talk about Teachers sexually abusing students, you should start a separate thread.

Again, I did speak about it. I didn’t change the subject, just posted about what I think is the more prevalent issue.

It is a rabbit hole and a half... Sexual predation in the education system is indeed, as you say, widespread. My dad was a director/principle and I heard from him, as well as where I taught. Sexual predation often involves teachers with each other, teachers and students, it is very wide spread. It would shock most people if they knew the extent of sexual predation in many schools.

Student violence is always immediately addressed. The thing is you see the attacks on social media but none of the followup.

Media will show it on the news for one media cycle. They may follow up down the line- like the kid that beat the teacher up over the handheld game- when it goes to court. They rarely if ever document how schools remove these kids.

Sexual predators are not discussed enough. They get one media cycle as well and then are quietly allowed to continue teaching, providing medical care or coaching.

There are plenty of days that go buy when a teacher isn’t assaulted by a student. Holidays. Summer recess. Weekends.

You are comparing apples to oranges. For the amount of teachers there are, only very few are engaged in some sordid relationship with a student. Most of them don't have a criminal record, so there is no way to vet them any further. Of course we do have schools that hire freak show drag queens to peddle books with sexualized content to young students, school libraries with prnographic books (mostly explicit gay content) and I've posted an example of one school that hired a principal despite his prior arrests as a gay sex offender. You were fine with all of that.

There are far more than there should be.

That is the point- they have committed sexual misconduct with minors yet they have no criminal records because they are allowed to leave the school quietly.

They should be removed, terminated and held accountable, same as you expect any student that attacks a teacher.

There are schools that seek to prevent the kind of dehumanizing hatred and discrimination people like you specialize in by having drag queens read stories to kids.

Many of these stories are the same we read as kids but I agree there are some books with material that shouldn’t be shared with grade and middle school kids.

You posted a story about a school that hired a principal that had his alleged sexual assault cases thrown out because of the lack of evidence presented by the prosecutor. The newspaper that wrote this story was a far right leaning paper that focused more on doxxing than the failure to present evidence- a point the judge made sternly in court.

So yes, in this instance, given the facts, I saw no reason not to hire the principal.

Of note: this is the exact same thing you want to happen if the prosecution doesn’t have enough evidence against the 45th president of the US.

Of course if there is concrete evidence you will pretend there isn’t.

It’s clear that you don’t want constitutional rights extended to American citizens that look different than you, don’t agree with your warped political ideology, and don’t cuck themselves in fealty to an autocrat.
