I once said that New York would be the site of the most epic failure of the vaccine in the history of the disease and here we have it



Look at that. 38,000 new cases and there is no end in sight. Most people in the state took the vaccine. This is a disastrous failure.

So how many more or less people would have got it in NY if they weren't vaccinated? How many would have died and how many hospitalised? Presumably you must have those figures otherwise you wouldn't know whether it was a 'success' or a 'failure' right?

When you're talking about this kinda disease outbreak success or failure ain't absolute but relative measures.

Good luck getting people to vax after saying Omicron will be the dominant variant and now it appears far less "DEADLY" then delta/beta which weren't particularly deadly for the vast majority of people anyway

Yeah I heard that no thanks. The funny part is they tell you that you need to be fully vaxxed. Then they say if you had covid you should get one shot and get "super immunity " the issue there is one shot won't count lol.

I'll just take my chances. I'm good lol. Omicron is the vaccine.

Alot of people who get infected with Omicron end up in the hospital. Unvaccinated people are the main group. What is most likely going to happen is the hospitals are going to be overloaded and people who should get treatment for suspected severe conditions won't get the proper initial diagnosis. It's about keeping yourself safe and other people safe. Not to mention people with underlying conditions who get infected. Many of these people don't even realize that the have an underlying condition. Then they end up in the hospital or worse.

The vaccines work against the variants that were prevalent at the time they were developed. They provide more protection from Omicron than being unvaccinated. Why don't unvaccinated people admit that their choice doesn't work. It's obvious to everyone but them that staying unvaccinated is a piss poor strategy to take on in the middle of a viral pandemic. They make up they bulk of hospitalizations and deaths.

how is it a piss poor strategy to not get a vaccine for something ive already had with a stronger strain that didnt really do a lot? am i going to get the weaker omnicron variant and suddenly drop down dead? or do you believe main****** media, tony blair, archbishop of canterbury etc that im some walking covid factory that has it in my system 365 days a year spreading it to everyone lol.

also today 'Dr Zudin Puthucheary, a member of the Intensive Care Society and doctor in London, said the number of patients coming into hospital who 'happen to be Covid positive' is skewing hospitalisation statistics.'

they'll still find some way to try and keep this going, the reinfection one is my favourite as if the weaker versions are going to have more effect on people who have already had a stronger version. pretty much eveyrones had covid now its been spreading for 2 years, starting to become very clear that hospitals arent even remotely close of being 'overwhelmed' certainly not cause of the influx of patients.

also asked this before but didnt get an answer. for the vaccine police, were you this strict on everyone getting vaccine when it came to flu seasons? not long ago we had 20k dead in winter in one wave, just cant remember all the shaming of people who didnt get the vaccine. or did you just start becoming really strict on it after main****** media started telling you to do it?
